Family Photoshoot

We are so sorry we haven't posted lately!
The day before Easter we had most of the family over. And then on Easter Sunday we went to our brother's to take some family pictures! Our sister-in-law made their outfits. They were so cute! Here are a few of our favorites!

This is the best family picture we got...the kids started getting tired. We will have to try to get a better one! #someday ;)

Diy Candles

With the holidays coming, are you still wondering what to give people? Try these diy candles; they are fun and easy to make. Here's how to make them.

What you will need: shortening, soy wax, crayons, candle scents, wicks, mugs, popsicle sticks, hot glue gun, peppermint candies, and sprinkles. I got most of my supplies on etsy.com!

First, twist two wicks together to make a stronger flame.
Then hot glue the wicks to the bottom of your mugs.
You can use a popsicle stick to hold it up.

Next, add your shortening to a glass container along with two brown
crayons and half a black crayon for a hot chocolate color OR one green
and half a white crayon for a white chocolate peppermint color.

Microwave until melted. Add desired scent.

Then pour it into your mug and let it get solid.

Lastly, decorate! To make white chocolate chunks
simply melt soy wax in a square container and let
it get solid, then break it into pieces.

For whip cream, soften (don't melt) soy wax and
stir until it looks like whip cream. Place onto
                   candles before it hardens!

After your candles are decorated, just cut the wicks
                 and you're done!!!
